But just as Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac, the angel of the Lord called out to him and said,

"Abraham! Abraham! Do not lay a head on the boy. Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me, your only son." – Genesis 22:11-12, NIV)
