The first book in Nancy Rue's new fictional Faithgirlz! series for girls ages 8-12 On the playground at school, the day after a field trip to the historic village of Williamsburg, Sophie LaCroix, the heroine of the new Faithgirlz! series, gets lost in a daydream of herself as an eighteenth-century patriot who risks her life to help the colonial troops.
