The Board ensures that the stories provide the highest quality education, animation, entertainment, and are worthy of your trust. The individuals are from various denominations and have extensive Bible, seminary, education, history and arts training.
Dr. Reg GrantDr. Grant holds a doctorate in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary where he currently serves as a Professor in Pastoral Ministries and the Audio Visual Coordinator. He is ordained by Garland Bible Fellowship and has authored several books and articles for nationally circulated Christian publications.
He also has written, produced, and acted in numerous award-winning television, film, radio and video productions for the family. His series, "In Search of Heroes," features live-action stories on the lives of historic heroes. Dr. Grant is married and has two sons and a daughter.
Rabbi Yechiel EcksteinA rabbi, author, lecturer, radio and television host, Rabbi Eckstein is the Founder and President of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Prior to 1983 when he formed the fellowship, he served as the Co-Director of Interreligious Affairs for the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai Brith.
He has a wide range of academic achievements, including two masters degrees and a nearly completed doctorate at such institutions as Yeshiva University of New York City where he was ordained as a Rabbi, Columbia University, and Union Theological Seminary.
Yechiel Eckstein is also a cantor and renowned entertainer of Israeli-Hassidic music. He has performed throughout the United States and Israel and recorded five albums. He is married and has three daughters.
Ed DeckerEd Decker is considered one of the leading Christian authorities in the area of apologetics (defending the faith), comparative religions and Christian orthodoxy. His many books, videos, and teachings are used by Bible schools, pastors and denominational groups worldwide. A regular guest on national television and radio programs, he is the founder and director of Saints Alive, a ministry that presents the good news gospel of the New Testament to non-Christians. In his travels to churches across the country, he shares the simple differences between Christianity and other faiths and his own conversion to Christianity. Ed also ministers as a pastor in his home church. He lives with his wife and children in pacific northwest.
Dr. Nathan HatchNathan O. Hatch, formerly provost at the University of Notre Dame, assumed the Wake Forest presidency July 1, 2005. A native of Columbia, S.C., Hatch is one of the most influential scholars in the study of the history of religion in America. Hatch spent nearly his entire career as a history professor and administrator at Notre Dame, a Catholic university in South Bend, Ind.
Dr. Hatch became Notre Dame's provost in 1996 -- the third person to hold the position since its establishment in 1970. Dr. Hatch had been the University's Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research since 1989.
Dr. Hatch played an integral role in enhancing the Catholic intellectual life at Notre Dame through the establishment of the Erasmus Institute, a center for scholarship informed by Catholic thought. Dr. Hatch was appointed to Notre Dame’s Tackes Chair in 1999 and was a member of the Notre Dame faculty since 1975.
A summa cum laude graduate of Wheaton College in 1968, Dr. Hatch earned his masters and doctoral degrees in 1972 and 1974, respectively, from Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Hatch and his wife, Julie, are the parents of three children -- Gregg, a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame; David, a class of 2000 graduate; and daughter Beth.
